A few weeks ago the South Wales Jewish Representative Council and The Board of Deputies of British Jews published the first-ever Jewish Manifesto for the National Assembly for Wales. It is an excellent document which covers an extensive range of Jewish issues including religious freedom, antisemitism, community safety, social care and social action. To read the full manifesto in English, please click here. Mae’r dogfen hefyd ar gael yn Gymraeg yma. You can see a graphic of the summary below.
I was particularly pleased to see the focus on opposing all forms of hate crime and promoting positive relations between all of our communities – and for a permanent, comprehensive solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Those who want to develop a better understanding of the issues would do well to read this document.
